"Course creators are scammers."

"They’re just out to get rich by selling you dreams."

I think most people have thought this at least once.

There are just so many bad examples of people paying thousands for a course on the promise of:

  • Scaling their business
  • Learning a high-value skill
  • Landing their dream job

And quite often, they never achieve those dreams.

But blaming course creators misses the real issue.

In my experience, most educators aren’t trying to mislead anyone.

They genuinely want others to succeed the way they did.

But getting real results for students is hard.

That’s because educators are forced to choose between two paths:

1. Focus on results

You can focus on results and teach one on one.

This works really well for students, but is hard to scale and often prohibitively expensive for most people.

Which means that educators can’t grow their businesses and often struggle to even make ends meet.

Or, they have to exclude most of the people that they’d love to work with because it’s just too expensive.

So most educators turn to a second option:

2. Focus on scale

Here people try things like cohorts and self-paced courses.

These systems are very scalable and make great money, but at the cost of their effectiveness.

You lose the personalisation, accountability and feedback that you have when you teach one to one.

And this means that your students get worse results the more you scale your business.

Eventually, students feel like they’ve been misled.

If you’d paid thousands of dollars and ended up with a course and no easy way to get help, you'd probably feel the same way.

And when that happens enough, people start to lose faith in the entire system and declare it a scam.

I’ve seen this happen time and time again.

And it’s all because educators are stuck between two options:

  1. Focus on results and have a struggling business
  2. Focus on the business and struggle to get results

And this was the big lightbulb moment for me.

Online education businesses are fundamentally flawed at the moment.

The problem is that there's so much you need to do as an educator to get results for your students:

  • You need to be able to scale while still providing personalised training to every student.
  • You need to be able to monitor students daily so they stay on track
  • And you need to be able to give regular feedback so you can help students to improve

But if you can do all three of these things, there’s no limit to how much you can scale.

Simply because you'll keep getting results for your students.

Unfortunately, right now this isn’t possible.

The tools we have weren’t designed to solve this problem.

And that’s what I’ve spent the past 6 months trying to solve.

Tomorrow, I’m going to tell you about the product I’ve been working on to solve exactly these problems.

I honestly believe this will reshape how online education works forever.

I can't wait for you to try it.
